OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS
This apartment is our holiday home and so you will appreciate that in order to rent our apartment, it is necessary to set some guidelines to ensure that the apartment is retained in good order for us - and future holidaymakers. These are very basic Terms and Conditions and we are sure you will agree that if all holidaymakers adhere to them, it will make your stay an extremely enjoyable one..
PLEASE READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU BOOK !!
01.PAYMENTS!
Please send your completed booking form together to us at: - Altinkum Apartment, 8 Street, 25 sokak Altinkum Didim together with a deposit of 50% of the total property rental plus a 'Breakage Deposit' of £100. The Breakage Deposit will be returned to you - in full - within 2 weeks of the end of your rental, on receipt of the apartment keys back from you and providing no breakages, losses or damage occurs during your stay. An inventory will be done immediately before and after your rental period. Please note, lost keys will result in the full deposit being forfeited due to the cost involved of replacing locks and having keys cut. We can also accept electronic transfer of the Booking Form by e-mail. Should you prefer, we can also accept deposits and full settlement directly to our Bank Account. Please ask us for details. We do reserve the right not to accept all booking requests. Your booking will be confirmed, in writing by post or email. All bookings are subject to the following conditions: - The balance due as shown on the confirmation must be paid to us 8 weeks before departure. If you fail to pay the balance by the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled. Should this be the case, you will be liable for the cancellation charges as set out below and we will have the right to re-let the property.
02.ALTERATIONS CANCELLATIONS!
Requests for alterations or cancellation of your booking must immediately be notified to us via e-mail to Altinkum Apartment This should be done by the person who originally signed the booking form. We will consider the effective date to be the date on which the notification is received by us. You should have an 'email receipt' facility on your email system and we would strongly recommend that you use this so that you are aware that your message has been read. All alterations and cancellations will be subject to the following charges payable by the person who signs the booking form: - More than 59 days prior to the date of departure: The deposit only will be forfeited 59 days or less prior to departure: The entire rental fee will be payable unless we are able to re-let for your cancelled weeks. In this case, only the deposit will be forfeited.
03.TENANCY TERMINATION!
he property forms part of a complex which has it's own Community Rules. On accepting our Terms and Conditions, you will also be agreeing to abide to the Community Rules, which are set to make your holiday - and that of others - enjoyable. Only people specified on the booking form should occupy the apartment. You are not permitted to sub-let or assign the apartment to others. Both we, and the Complex Property Management, reserve the right to terminate without notice the holiday arrangements of any client whose behaviour is such that it causes distress, upset, damage, annoyance or danger to the designated property managers, the property itself, the complex, apartment or to a third party. In the interest of safety and security, you must not give the keys to the apartment or pool area to anyone not defined on your booking form as being in your immediate party.
For the benefit of all holidaymakers renting the apartment, there is to be no smoking in the property itself. Smoking is restricted to the terraces only. Pets are not permitted in the apartment. We cannot accept bookings from stag or hen parties.
04.INSAURANCE!
Please note that the owners' insurance policy covers third party liability, the building itself and the theft of owners' contents from the apartment. We strongly recommend that you obtain your own insurance for your own possessions, as we do not accept any liability for any loss or damage to your property.
05.DAMAGA BREAKAGE!
You are expected to look after the property and its' contents in the same way as the owner would. Therefore, you are responsible for all loss, damage and breakage whilst renting the property. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of replacing lost, broken or damaged items from your 'Breakage Deposit'. Your 'Breakage Deposit', less any deductions, will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your return to the UK.

It is your own responsibility to obtain any necessary documentation for your holiday. You must ensure that they are valid and in order. Personal possessions and luggage are taken to the apartment at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that your personal effects are adequately covered outside of the UK, via an insurance policy.
09.PROPERTY DESCIREPTION!
We have prepared the property description in good faith. We will ensure that you are informed of any material changes that we are advised us that affects your rental period. However, we cannot be responsible for alterations beyond our control, for example, public holidays, water restrictions, local authority or government restrictions, or repairs and maintenance to facilities at the complex.
10.RESPONSIBILITY!
We, and the Complex Property Managers will endeavour to fulfill this contract. However, we cannot accept liability or responsibility for any alteration, delay or cancellation caused by war or threat of war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions, act of any airport, port, governmental or public authority, technical problems to transport, airport regulations, temporary technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown with your accommodation, or any other circumstances amounting to a "Force Majeure" and/or Act of God, and all other similar events beyond our control.
Your travel insurance may well offer cover in respect of some of these eventualities.
11.PROBLEMS!
In the unlikely event of a problem while you are renting the apartment, please contact the Complex Property Manager at reception so that they have an opportunity to rectify it immediately. It is very difficult to retrospectively deal with a problem once you return and we will not, in any case, investigate problems later than 14 days from your return date.
12.ACCESS TO PROPERTY!
In order for our cleaners to get the apartment ready for you in the condition you expect, the earliest you will be able to gain access is 4pm on the day of arrival and you must vacate it by 11 am on your day of departure. The pool and the other facilities can still be used, even if you cannot use the apartment. You should be able to store luggage at Reception if necessary.
